If you did move the Public folder, read the last post by Scott W. Sander in this thread.

Thats the problem I dont understand what he means.
 
For all I know I have not changed a thing on the public folder, what is "the original state", what would I have to change? what do I change in the registry?

If you haven't done anything with the Public folder (ie. moved it to a different location), then that's not what is causing your problem. Perhaps someone else will have a suggestions or a solution.

the problem is caused by Comodo firewall pro 3,0
 
uninstall it and all problems are gone
