upgrades after reformatting
I reformatted my Dimension 3000 desktop and now it just says Loading PBR for Descriptor 1...Done - Starting Windows 95. I would like to upgrade top Windows XP since I have the disk but, unsure as to how this is done. can I get a little assist please. Also since I have Windows 7 on my laptop can I upgrade my desktop with the disk I have for laptop?

No, you cannot legally use a copy of 7 from one system on another - you must purchase a copy for the desktop system.
