Urgent - Automatically generated file
I just went to Symantec and ran a security check. The 3rd item on the scan did not complete due to problems with server. It was the item that checks vurnerability of computer re hackers etc. Yesterday it did not work either. Either when I closed or tried to close this the following jumped up on my computer. It had a blue bar at top with the word document icon and the title was 9-1-03 Exported Favorited bookmark. It was is huge letters although is read plain text, couier new, 10. it said something like this: doctype.netscape - Do not edit and it is lines and lines mentioning ABC, CBC and other news places as well as some personal items from my favorites. The office assistant jumped up on the page with a light bulb over it but somehow the light bulb disappeared (probably my doing) but now I can't read what office assistant wanted to tell me.
Has someone envaded my computer or what is all this? This does not show in my list of Word documents. Should I save it in case I need to report it to anyone?

Do you run any programs to examine your computer for spyware/malware? If not, download and run Ad-aware and/or Spybot and remove anything unwanted that they identify.

The document that opened in very large print turned out to be a recovered document although I still do not understand why this happened and why it was in such large letters. I have a Word document: Exported Favorite bookmarks (Recovered) This is the document in very large print. Also in My Documents is an e (HTML document) with the same information in norm font size. This seems to be a list of my favorite places. I have no recollection of exporting it and if I did it was not recently. This led me to believe that someone invaded my computer.
Recently NAV quarantined some trojan horses. It was after this that the document in large print appeared (I don't know why)
After this I installed Ad-Aware and it quarantined some items. I must read up on Ad-Aware but I am under the impression that it will not continue to protect as does NAV and that I will have to rerun it from time-to-time.
