From what you have written the problem lies with the operating system rather than the BIOS which is the nature of this forum.  You would get a better response to your problem by posting it in the appropriate Windows forum here at Dell.  From the software you have mentioned it would appear that you are using Windows XP.  You can click here for a direct link to the Software - Windows XP forum.
