URT Folder

The "URTTemp" folder appeared on my desktop. It has 6 DLL files in it and one regtlib.exe file. It looks like it is a Microsoft program. I have no Idea what it is or what caused it to appear on my desktop! Do I need it? If so where should I put it!!. It isn't a short cut folder from somewhere. It may have been installed on my desktop when i was reinstalling the Spysweeper program per Webroot instructions. I scanned it with some kind of a repair scan. The scan worked fine and the reinstall went fine. My computer seems to work ok. I did an search on my "C" drive and it doesn't show it anywhere. I have searched with Google but it didn't tell me much on what to do. I can give you a list of the DLL files if it would help. Thanks

I found this forum at Microsoft. But it refers to Net Framework issues.

See if it provides any help. Then again it may be adware/spyware issues as you suspected.
