I have to uninstall/reinstall the USB.

Uninstall the Hub (Generic and Root) entries only in device manager, Do Not uninstall the Controller entries, or you will have to reinstall the OS.

Reboot after you uninstall Hub entries and windows will reinstall them automatically.

To uninstall, click the little plus sign by "Universal Serial Bus Contollers" right click on each Hub entry and select "uninstall"

mombodog:

I was ready to follow your instructions and I disconnected the "Micro Webcam Basic IC50C".

Then I went to Device Manager and found that the "yellow circle" disappeared.

Doing this, I do not see anymore "Imaging devices/USB Device".

But I have:

UNIVERSAL SERIAL BUS CONTROLLERS:
USB Printing Support
Intel 82801DB/DBM USB Universal Host Controller - 24C4
 "        "           "            "            "          "           "         - 24C7
 "        "           "            "            "          "           "         - 24C2
USB Root Hub
  "        "       "
  "        "       "
  "        "       "
====================================================================

When I try to install the Webcam program, the computer is asking for the driver: USBUVT.SYS 8532.

Please let me know if you can help me.

Thank you so much for your help.

I have done that, but still did not work.

Do you have another option?

Thanks a lot.
