Using ace utilties

Whenever I try to update ace utilities, I get the following error message:

web update

unable to retreive information from www.acelogix.com

I did uninstall and then reinstall ace utilities, but that did not solve the problem. The website never seems to come in and I don't get any prompts from my firewall software. I did use system mechanic, but now I use ace utilities. I can always uninstall ace utitlies for good if I need to.
