using task manager

Question

Hi Folks:  Here is my situation ! I have accounting software which fails to execute its backup feature. Through contact with the companys tech support we deduced its a problem of conflict with another proccess. We did a safe mode boot and tested the backup feature from there, worked perfectly. They informed me through task manager I would be able to discover the culprit. My Question: 1. if after I end proccess and try to backup my accounting file                   and find it still doesn't work do i reboot after each end proccess                  or just keep on ending proccesses until I uncover the culprit Your input is very much appreciated  Thank You.........Prehistoric (dob predesktops)

Don't End explorer.exe Process as it controls Desktop , Taskbar etc.
Just keep Ending other Process start with user name Processes not explorer.exe & reboot computer to restore Ended Processes when done.
