Boa Pu, If you right click the folder that is hidden and choose properties un tick hidden and choose all sub folders and files-apply and ok.

The poster said they did not want all hidden files to show only select ones.

It's easier to go Folder Options in Windows Explorer, View Tab, select Show Hidden Files & Folders, OK it. Also UNcheck Hide file extensions while you are there.

There is also a third one. "Hide protected operating system files". If you downloaded IE7, a number of its files are still hidden unless you uncheck this.

-- Hmmm. I am trying out IE7, but I haven't had a need to look for any hidden files. What kind of IE7 files are hidden?

The History Folder and the Temporary Internet Files folder.
