That article link is the "official" word from Apple, which is what Apple's lawyers would want you to read. If you want to know what life is like on the streets from the point of view of end users, you can try the following:
There are several issues, the most significant one (for me) is synchronization seems to take forever or lock up with large iTunes libraries. Very frustrating!
There is a Microsoft patch for the Apple iPod may be corrupted when you eject it by using the "Safely Remove Hardware" bug
