vista finally being shipped

I am so thankful now. Just receive an email that included a shipping number and that my upgrade is finally being shipped after waiting about 2 months.

BTW, I redeemed by upgrade On first week of February.

Anyone else who redeemed there upgrade on the 1st week of February receive there upgrades or an email?

Cheers!

What kind of systems do you guys have?  I'm wondering if they are shipping vista for people that have XPS710's.

I registered on the 10th of January and still no update. So much for Dell's promise that they would ship in the order people registered.

I beat you all! I registered November 29th and haven't received a thing! (Gee, maybe "beating you all" shouldn't make me feel better?) :smileymad:

Hi !! Bought E1505 in February and recieved Windows XP Media Center 2005 Vista Home Premium Upgrade Kit with DVD Assistant March 9.

E1505 T5500 Core2Duo Intel 950 graphics accelerator 2gb 667mhz 5400 DDR2... Upgrade was flawless after deleting all the bloatware and declining the Dell Agreement at startup(really a google trap). It deleted itself.

This is one hot upgrade and one very cool running laptop. The Dell 1500 Draft N Wireless loaded perfectly without prompt but I did lose scrolling with the touchpad. Just went to the drivers and downloads section under vista and got the touchpad drivers.

I did the upgrade and did not delete any partitions. New Dell computers with Vista preinstalled have quick restore but upgrade customers do not. Our old Dell Symantic Quick Restore is disabled but still there and very fixable. Its all we get. Like any Dell veteran I have a copy of the Goodell Fix on cd already so I will have Restore capability.

As the Eydes of March approaches so does the end of the upgrade program. After tomorrow all they can do is ship...

I registered the first week of December for an E521. Nuttin yet. I think it is kind of ridiculous.
