VISTA reinstall XP

to reinstall xp in vista,
follow the steps.
 
warning:: It will remove everything from your C:  drive.  including " dell system restore "  .  Therefore,  in future, if you want to reinstall Windows Xp againg, there will be only one way.
 
material:
 
1. dell system restore disk.  (order it from dell.  price: $ 10 to $ 20 )
2. dell driver installation disk. (price: $ 10 to $ 20 ;  order in from dell)
 
after you get this disk.
 
back up your all necessary data.  [ try to back up it manualy.   do not use windows back up.]
 
close all the programs.
 
insert the "XP reinstall"  disk into cd/dvd drive.
 
shutdown the computer.
 
after the computer shutdown.  press and hold"F12"  and start computer.
 
you will see boot menu.
 
select cd/dvd drive using aero keys.
 
press ENTER.
 
and follow the instruction..

That is only true if you put Vista on the same partition as XP to begin with, whihc has not been recommended to do.

yes, you are right.
 
but i found out that many people had already done this including me!!!.
 
that is why i post this massage.

When you use the Vista restore DVD that came with my Dell, I don't remember having to enter a CD-Key or going through any activation process.  Did others have this experience as well?
