Vista Tip for acces denied message

Something that I'm seeing a lot is that people can't change the access without changing the ownership of the file first- a problem if you've transferred the file from another computer. Somebody with a Vista box care to post those instructions?

 

Oh, and isn't this entire forum a giant "tips" section?

this forum (vista) is more a HELP and Complain section, where before you can find a TIP you first have to trail a whole bundle of moaning and groaning messages, all beside the complains about dell and Vista. sometimes it seems most people here are giving their own problems as an add on instead a solution.

if i read about aproblem it is ridiculous to have to read another dozen of responses just stating "me too, me too!" while the solutions only come from a handfull.

I assume this forum is to help, not to thrive on agreeing with other people disageements.

 

everyone knows by now that Vista is new, every body is still learning and making mistakes. so stop complaining as a response to a question but give some helpfull advise.

if you want to complain moan groan nag etc start a thread with that name so i can avoid being harassed by repeated same old same old.

you are right, its so easy to take the Devils road (and i do NOT mean Gates or dell)
