Vista Tip for acces denied message
a lot of people are having a problem accessing their files (acces Denied) to delete, move etc.
its easy to correct, rightclick on the file. choose properties, choose security, click edit, highlight your account name, put a tick in the "full Control allow box". click apply. and you have full control.
tip 1: if you have a lot of inherented files from xp (like after an upgrade) you can set the permissions in the same way, by opening my computer and right click on a drive and follow the same procedure as above. be aware this is less secure!
tip 2:to protect a file you can use the same, but put the tick in the DENY box.
POST MORE TIPS.
