I keep getting the following error message:
Disk free space has dropped below the minimum threshold. Free up space on your hard disk drive by:
1. Backing up your data to a tape backup, ZIP or network drive.
2. Delete unused files.
If you are unsure which files are safe to move or delete, contact your Help Desk or consult your software manuals.

I have empted all temp files removed unused files and programs clear recycle bin etc.

Hi there,
Have you checked whether disk quota is enabled?
Go to Explorer. Right click on your C drive and select Properties. Click the Quota tab and disable Enable quota management.
Hope this helps.

hi everyone,
I keep getting the same error message too:
Disk free space has dropped below the minimum threshold. Free up space on your hard disk drive by:
1. Backing up your data to a tape backup, ZIP or network drive.
2. Delete unused files.
If you are unsure which files are safe to move or delete, contact your Help Desk or consult your software manuals.
I have a 40 GB drive and i am only using 9.4GB. I have 20 GB free.
The Enable disk quota management is disable on my computer, yet I get this error msg.
Any other solutions?
Thankx,
Radiya

is what i had to do was remove a dell installed network manager program. really really sorry i cant remember the name.
its a program to allow a network administrator to 'manager' the program over the network.
since removal i have had no problems.
hope this helps
