WDS_SL error message at shutdown
Hi Group-
I recently get an error message that this is a non-responding program when I try to shut down. I have to click on End Now to shut down. This program has something to do with Window desktop search. Does anyone know how I can get this file "Fixed"?
Thanks

Ummmm- isn't that exactly what I said to Mike1244? Did you bother to try the link posted in my response?

Hey, be polite and stop screaming at me. -Use a smaller font size.
Look at the link you posted and look carefully at the link in my post. Your link isn't even close. You switched the v and the 7, and you typed the letter "b" instead of the number "6".
If you cut/paste my link directly into the URL line in your browser, you'll see where you can go.

Edit: And if you look at my original post, you'll notice that it has not been edited, so I didn't just sneak back in and fix a typo.

Did the solution provided resolve the issue you were seeing?
All, please make sure verify not only the links you provide, but those provided by other board members as well. This will ensure that you do not post information already provided in the thread and cause possible confusion for those looking for information.
Thanks!

Probably loads during boot, so may be listed on Startup tab in msconfig (unless it's a Windows 'service'). Uncheck it and reboot, put check in "don't show this again" box that appears on reboot.
