Web pages minimized

Using Windows XP and IE 6, it suddenly began happening that when I go to a Web page it comes in partly minimized - I mean by this what you would get by clicking on the middle box in the upper right corner between the "-" and the "X".
It didn't used to do this before the last couple of weeks. How do I get it back to bringing in the full page size?

Try closing all Internet Explorer Windows except one.  Adjust the size of that window to the size you want.  Then, hold down the shift key and click on the X to close the window.   Windows should remeber the size of the window the next time it opens.   Let us know if that fixes the problem.

It didn't seem to fix the problem. The screen, an internet page, filled my monitor screen only partially. I clicked on the [] (square) in the upper right corner to make it fill the entire monitor screen. Then while holding down the shift key, hit the X to close the screen. Is that supposed to work on only that particular screen (web page) or any?

A week ago, this did not happen. Any Web page I went to came in filling the entire monitor screen. Now most do not.

Try left click the IE Icon in the top left corner, above File, use the Size to adjust .
