What is ScsiAccess?

Hi all,

When I go into services.msc, I notice a service called ScsiAccess.  There is no explanation for it.  It was set to Automatic.  Can anyone shed some insight as to what this service is?  Is it safe to disable it?  I also noticed there was a User Account called .ASP.Net in Control Panel.  I deleted that account.  This computer I am using is linked to the Internet via wireless router.  Would that have anything to do woth it?  Thanks in advance!

I don't know if this will help, but you might want to check out this discussion. Hopefully, someone more knowledgeable will chime in with more info.

Thanks for the link vetriguy.  After doing some Google research on my own, I have determined that the Kodak EasyShare software I recently loaded created the service.  I have disabled the service and so far...all is well.  Should something fooky happen when I use the software, I can always change the service status to Manual.  I appreciate your response!

The ASP.Net account was probably auto created by Windows Recommended Update for NET Framework.

Thanks gryjhnhpe.  Now that you mentioned it, it does seem to make sense.  Hope all is well down under!  I am freezing in York, PA and cannot wait for the promise of spring and warmer temps.  Ahhh bliss!  Take care buddy!
