white box on desktop

I frequently get a white box on my desktop on my Dell N4010 running Windows 7.  I run CCLEANER and get a message that says "Missing Librtype reference" or something similar.  I've searched this forum and the Microsoft forums and cant seem to find a similar problem. The box is "on top" of the desktop and any software I run and I'm always having to move windows around to see what is under it. Can you please help?

Hi, seems to be a Windows related issue, the most accurate solution is a full Windows Reinstallation with the disk, also to verify it, reboot the computer and press F8 select Safe Mode, log in the system and if the box is not there, seems to be only software and if is still after the OS reinstallation, could be hardware related. If it is not shown in Safe Mode, it could still be the video card and/or the video driver.  In Safe Mode only the basic VGA mode is used, different from regular Windows Mode.

First suggestion is to reinstall the video drivers.  HERE is the Dell Downloads, select the correct video driver for your system.
