I *think* they are BIOS attached, so it will not install.
Why not just try it?
There may be some EULA issues to be concerned about, but you should be okay if the second machine has its own Product Key.
It will not work (as I stated in my reply to the other instance of this post.
The second machine does not have its own product key, as it has no operating system. Even if it had one, it is a violation of the EULA to use the Dell OS on any computer except the one with which it was sold.
Sorry... misunderstood... when he said about using the COA, I was thinking it was a COA for the new system - thought it just did not have system installed, but had the license.... My bad...
You definitely need a separate copy of Win XP for the new computer....
