put your dell XP restore disk into the driver and at the Dell splash screen press the F12 key. choose the option to boot from the on board CD-rom and it will load up the XP install process. Follow the prompts to reformat and reinstall.
After you get the OS installed you need to follow the steps HERE to reload your drivers and such.
Go HERE and use the enter service tag to access drivers and download page for your system to find the drivers that you need. I would suggest you do this before hand. Download them and put them on either a thumb drive or CD for access
