Window Media Player Error Message

Question

When i try to  load up my Windows media player i get an error message which reads 'An Internal Application Error Has Occured'  and nothing i try has got round this error, anyone know what i can do.

While that's a nice link there is no info pertaining to his (And my) issue...

And, after a little more googling, I found the answer may be with unregistered scripting dll's. Try this:

Start > Run > regsvr32 jscript.dll

Start > Run > regsvr32 vbscript.dll

Don't even have to restart...of course, this may not fix your issue, but it did fix mine!
