Window Powertoys

I am using this little program from Powertoys for Windows 95, which installs “any folder” in send to menu. This application was working perfectly on Windows XP right through SP1 and SP2.
Now I have slipstreamed Windows XP and SP2 and installed operating system on a new hard drive. I have found this Powertoy program will no longer install. A command prompt window will flash momentarily and nothing happens.
It is not a big issue, but if someone could help either with installation, workaround or other program besides drag and drop method in explorer it would be much appreciated. It is hard to break old habits.:smileyhappy:

Hi Mary, I could not help but ask you about the link you gave in your reply. How do you download the power toy version. I went to the page, and it has lots of blue highlighted links to download. Which one does the download for the Power Toy program? Or do you just download each one, one by one?

I'm surprised you got it to work this long! There's a new version for XP: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

Hi Ratz,

Open C:\documents and settings, make sure you can View hidden files and folders. Open your account then open Send to folder and put a Shortcut to the folder(s) you want in the Send to menu.

Also found this. Scroll down to SendTo Toy.

Yes, you need to download individual powertoy one-by-one.  There isn't a complete download from Microsoft that contains all powertoys, so, for example, let's say you want the Powertoy Calculator, you simply download that.

Thank you all for response. Thanks Dave5 for the link. SendTo Toy is exactly I was looking for.
