the thing is that they don't really need to supply it, the vista drivers will work if they unlock them, Windows 7 is completely backwards compatable with Vista and all vista drivers operate correctly in 7.
I doubt (no - I know) that Dell (or any other manufacturer) will not supply drivers for a beta OS. If you are able to find something that works, then consider yourself fortunate. Otherwise, you'll have to wait.
Hello EdwinMorris, I have just read your post and wanted to let you and the others know that Microsoft has posted a Windows 7 Beta hardware support page that can answer some of your questions about common hardware issues. Keeping in mind that Windows 7 is still in Beta so 3rd party manufactures like Dell may not be ready to release updated drivers to support Windows 7 yet. The Windows 7 team is working to make sure that there will be device and driver compatibility for the official Windows 7 product launch. Thanks, but there aren't any printers on that hardware list. I'll keep an eye out.

You just need to run the driver installation program in compatibility mode. I had the same problem with a HP printer.
