Windows 7 Home Premium Key recovery based on service tag

The hard drive crashed for my laptop Inspiron 15 Intel (N5010). I replaced the hard drive but the Windows 7 home premium key at the bottom of laptop is not readable. I can read the Dell Service Tag and express service tag keys. The laptop is out of warranty. Is there a way Dell support can help to recover the OS key based on the service tag? Thanks for your help!

No theres no record of it... However it doesn't matter if you install Windows 7 with a Dell Windows 7 Reinstallation DVD it will input a 25 digit System Locked Preinstallation Key that will automatically activate on a valid Dell system.

If you don't have a Reinstallation DVD this activation mechanism can be applied to a Digital River .iso with the ABR program. I explain the mechanism in this video:
