Windows 7 in test mode?

Somehow Win 7 got corrupt, so I backed up my files and did a system refresh from the hidden files on the hard drive.

Everything went well...and the system was up an running in a couple hours.

Then I notice in the lower right corner of the screen, it says windows 7 test mode

Can someone advise what this means....and how to get rid of it

thanks in advance

Some commands that you can run using Command Prompt might require elevated or administrative privileges. To run these commands, you can use the Run as administrator command.

To run Command Prompt as an administrator

  1. Click the Start button Picture of the Start button.
  2. In the search box, type command prompt.

  3. In the list of results, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator. Administrator permission required If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

Open a cmd (DOS) window with administrator rights and run this command:

Bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING OFF

Doing this however will prevent any unsigned drivers from running.
