Windows 7 OS
I want to wipe my C drive clean and reinstall windows 7 but i dont know how to do so properly. I have the disc to install it. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, Just press F8 when the systems boot, and do a repair job, see HERE. But if the restore partition is dull, then put in the CD/DVD, and rebbot, then press F12 to boot off the disc. and follow the screen instructions. manual reinstall HERE.

Follow the directions HERE. It's best to reset to Factory Settings if windows 7 was the original operating system. Nowadays you lose a lot installing from disk. Win 7 was installed at the factory using an image file, not a disk. You should have a system image on an external drive or make one now before you do anything in case you have problems. Open Backup and Restore to make recovery disks and system image.
