Windows 7 software
I upgraded my 2012 Dell laptop to windows 10 a while back. It worked okay for a while, but I'm now having problems. Someone advised me to revert back to Windows 7. When I tried to do so, I was unable because my Windows 7 product key is for Dell installed versions.
How can I get the original Windows 7 OS that was delivered with my new Dell?

Try seeing if you can download the recovery image for your computer by clicking here. Because your computer is well past warranty, they may not have your restore discs anymore. If that is the case you would have to buy a new windows 7 OS disc and install it that way.

What "problems"? There is a workaround to Download the Windows 7 .iso from Microsoft's Techbench. See here for details:
