WIndows 7 SP 1 Update - What a mess
Inspriron N5010 6GB RAM 640 GB HD ATI 1GB graphics card
I did a WIndows Update that included SP1. It did not seem to install sucessfully, leaving the following (among others) not working:
ToasterLauncher.exe
Intel Proset/Wireless WiMax Connection
ATI Catalyst Control Center
IASTORICON
Also, when I go into Dell DataSafe, I get DSLauncher has stopped working, so I can't even use that to use the system recovery disks.
I'm at a loss, any ideas out there?

Use System Restore to roll your system back to a previous point. That should undo what happened during the update.

Tried it, earliest was just prior to SP1. still having the same issues. I'm open to anything else.
