Windows 8 Driver Updates
Hi,
I was wondering if there was a cutoff for models that were not going to receive support for Win8.
I've got an M4400 and everything on it works with the RTM version of Win8, aside from the fingerprint reader, the 5600 Gobi chipset broadband card and the Bluetooth 370 mini card.
Will these be addressed for the official release?

Hi,
Thanks for bringing the concern to our notice. Presently we don’t have the official release of the drivers. I will forward your issue to the relevant department and will update you once it’s officially released.
I would suggest you to wait till the time it is officially released. Can you provide the following details so that I can forward your case?
BIOS VERSION of the system:
Any Drivers installed:
Any Troubleshooting done by yourself:

I am having a similar issue with a latitude E6500. No fingerprint reader or Bluetooth 370 mini card, although the Bluetooth drivers worked on the Release Preview version of Windows 8.

Ya, the hardware in that model is very similar to the M4400.
Hopefully they'll provide a list of models that will be getting some love.

I hope that Dell will offer drivers shortly...

Try also the Bluetooth 380 Driver here: http://ftp1.dell.com/folder00865420m/1/. Not sure if it'll work with the 375, 370, 365, 360 and 355 modules. If you do install it let me know as its useful information.

it works on my DELL VOSTRO V 13 Notebook (WIN 8 32 Bit) with BT 365 Module as well!

I had the problem too that Windows 8 wasn't detecting my Dell 370 Bluetooth Mini Card. The Problem was that Windows installed the Motion Joy software driver for my device. To fix it, I finally had to uninstall and delete all Motion Joy drivers from my System. I Installed the drivers suggested at the top of this page and it was working fine for me after.

I had problems connecting my Bluetooth devices with the drivers listed above. My PC was detecting devices but not building up a stable connection.
Downloading the Broadcom WIDCOMM Driver 12.0.0.2800 helped for me. I found it here:
