XPS One 2710 - Windows 8 64 bit (2 broken)
Note check on the drivers and downloads pages for updates/additions to the drivers listed since the 28/10/2012. If the drivers aren't listed in the following list and you can't download them post in this thread below so I can add them. If you post on the comments on the actual wiki pages, I won't get an email notification and it may take some time for me to address the issue.
Free Dell Windows 8 for Dummies handbook available from here.
Please everyone who has experienced issues with the Dell drivers and downloads service.
Please add your vote to this poll here. Also state your model and location.
I want to highlight this issue to Dell who arte stating to me their drivers and downloads service is working properly.
Any feedback for issues you've experienced add as comments at the bottom of the poll.
In the meantime use the direct links above. Note if you had to resort to use the direct links or prefer the direct links please vote yes in the poll and leave a comment in the poll again adding in the system and location.

Hi,
By any chance do you have direct link to the Vostro 3450 Video Driver for Windows 8 (Radeon 7650M)? I'm stuck at this one, cannot find it anywhere.

No Dell aren't marking this system as one they plan to support on Windows 8. However likely it will work fine, my XPS 8300 desktop is unsupported and now it is running Windows 8 and no additional drivers were required. I suggest you install Windows 8 and see my notes here.

Hi, I upgraded my Inspiron 17r 5720 to Windows8 from Windows 7 Home Premium. Now, my wireless adapter is not detected and I can't connect to a wireless network.
I tried installing these drivers for the network:
- Network_Atheros_W8_A00_Setup-92GWH_ZPE
- Network_Intel_WLAN_W84_A00_Setup-0T5YK_ZPE
But both don't seem to work. I believe the drivers don't even finish installing. It's like they're broken or something.
Do you have any idea if I am missing something here? I'd really appreciate any help. Thanks!

There are 4 wireless drivers and you have to select the correct one(s).

Once you download and run the file it should extract C\Dell\Drivers e.g. in the case of the first one C\Dell\Drivers\92GWH the setup should then automatically run. It doesn't do this in all cases and if nothing else happens after a minute, go to this folder and look for a setup.exe and run it.

The Studio 1558 is unsupported by Dell to run Windows 8. Therefore an unofficial Driver set has to be made up and it can only be verified by Studio 1558 users, I have made some suggestions here some users seem to be having issues and others not.

Yep, I have also tried manually running the setup.exe but it didn't work. A window saying something like "preparing for installation" appears but before the progress bar reaches 100%, the window disappears and nothing happens. I checked the device manager and the network controller still has no driver.
Could have I downloaded a corrupted installer? I was also wondering if there is a specific order in which drivers have to be installed (bios, chipset, network, etc.) ?
Thank you so much for the reply!
