The issue is due to the incompatibility of the 3G modem driver on Windows 8 operating system. The 3G modem driver will need to be updated to fix this issue. If the 3G modem was provided by your ISP, I suggest you contact your ISP to obtain Windows 8 compatible drivers. If you purchased it at a retail store, please contact the 3G modem manufacturer.
