Windows 8 product key
Hi,
How can I know product key for windows 8 (Inspiron 15R 5521) . I did not get windows 8 dvd. I have tried to restore to factory settings but it did't work. Please let me know how to reinstall windows 8 which was there when I purchased the laptop also let me know which version of windows 8 is shipped along with Inspiron 15R 5521.

Hi Shijith,
I will be glad to help you. Request you to let me know the reason you are trying to reinstall the computer. Dell systems do not encrypt the product key on the computer but is in built into the motherboard so do send me the system service tag via private message. I will check and see what can be done.
