Here it is, over a year later and this question still isn't answered. I have the exact same computer as the original poster and I cannot get my computer to update to Windows 8.1.
Can't Dell send us a disk to upgrade our systems? I'm missing out on apps that I can't run because I can't update. HELP!

nVidia released a new driver Monday night (GeForce 331.58 WHQL). I installed the new driver
The update to 8.1 failed with the same error code.
