Windows 8.1 Restore Settings
Restore Settings
You will next see the step to restore settings if you completed the security code step. To see this you must also have used Windows 8.1 on another PC with the same Microsoft Account previously, and backed up some settings to SkyDrive.
Each computer from which you backed up settings will be shown in this interface. Select one or choose not to restore settings by selecting the option to "Set this up as a new PC".
Note: If you skipped the security code step, you will not be able to select a PC from the list. You will see a message telling you to go back and complete the security code step in order to restore settings.
