Do you know what "this program" is?   I used to get these errors alot with win98. Usually is an improperly written program code, not always windows fault.

Hello, thank you for responding.  I received some information that perhaps the error was caused by incompatibility of some soft ware.  I recently installed a Firewall from McAfee.  I decided to uninstall it and now everything appears to be fine.  I have had similar experiences with McAfee Anti-Virus, so it appears that is the cause of the error this time.  Thank you for your interest.
