Does this thing ever work?
It depends on the system. Doesn't work worth a poo on desktop systems (nor was it intended for use on them), and under 98SE, it never worked all that well on notebooks, although it seems to depend on what you have running automatically at Windows startup, as well as whether or not the system is fully patched via Windows Update (which should be the case under any circumstances).
