Windows Boot Manager -- left alone goes to XP Pro Setup?

When our recently upgraded XPS 410 boots, the Windows Boot Manager appears with "Earlier Version of Windows/Windows Vista/Windows XP Professional Setup" as the OS list. There is also a countdown timer. The XP Pro option is the one selected when the Boot Manager loads and if the timer runs out, the computer immediately goes into the XP Pro Setup. We don't have a dual-boot setup -- Just Vista. We used the Express Vista Upgrade from Dell.

Vista works great, but we are tired of having to exit that XP Pro Setup and reboot the computer so we can catch the Boot Manager before it loads the XP Pro Setup. Is there a way around this? Not that we're space cadets or anything -- it's just annoying.

Thanks! Let me know if you need more information.

Hold the Flag key down and tap Pause/Break key, go to Advanced System Settings, In start up and recovery hit "settings" in the Default Operating System drop down menu, select Vista, Hit OK
