Windows cannot find REGSVR32
Download and installation of SP2 failed. Error message is "Windows cannot find
C:\WINDOWS\System32\regsvr32". I did a file search of my system and found "C:\WINDOWS\System32\REGSVR32.DLL". I did a search of this forum and found 10 similar problems but not exactly the same file. What should I do to complete installation of SP2?

Just to be clear: You have XP without IE 6 ?
Did you upgrade your XP system from 98/Millenium and then copy it to your new system ?
My XP (c/w SP2) Home has no dll version of regsvr; I only have regsvr32.exe.
Please clarify your current configuration.
