Windows Dialog Boxes not displaying properly

When I open certain dialog boxes, only certain portion of the box is displayed and as a result I can't see the buttons like "Yes" or "No". Sometimes only the menu bar appears and nothing else. This happen quite frequently and is annoying. What's happening?

It sounds like your display settings are off. Right click on the desktop, click properties, and change the resolution setting. One way to check if the settings need adjusted is when you open the dialog box hit the tab button and it will show the rest of the box. Basically you need to resize your display.
