Windows Display Settings

I have a Dell Inspiron 5150 and yesterday my display settings went really big. I chatted with someone from Dell on-line today and they pushed a file to me to update my drivers or something. I downloaded that and it set my display to 1400x1050 but now everything is really small. The picture on my desktop is right, but all of my icons and applications are so small that I can barely see them. If I make things bigger, then they become fuzzy. How can I keep the settings on 1400x1050 but make the icons and applications big enough to see? Dell says my hardware is fine and that it is a software problem.

change the dpi, control panel > display settings> advanced > dpi

it's on 96, is that right? Dell had me try that, too.

Thanks for your help. For some odd reason those things were not working before, but now they are. By the way, do you know what the Palette Title is?

use custom and play with the settings until you get the look you want.
