I have three computers with the exact same concern and they just started occuring about 1 week ago. I have a Dimension 8250, 8300 and 4650 with the same errors. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Bob

Allow me to add:

I, too, have been experiencing something very similar on a Precision 650, XP Pro sp1 for the past week or so:

App Name: explorer.exe

App Version: 6.0.2800.1106

Mod Name: shell32.dll

** Mod Version: 6.0.2800.1556 **

** Offset: 0046983 **

So far, my searches have not found the cause or the solution.

I, too, ask if anyone knows about this and how to fix it?

Thanks!

Bad News.. I tried that fix and it didn't work for me. I read that if you actually left click on the item prior to right clicking that the problem does not occur. Just some food for thought.

I was so pleased when it worked for me....it has also worked for a lot of people I know.

I guess it might depend on what exactly is giving you the error.

I hope you get it figured out.

Thanks Valerie
