Windows Key Problem
I have a Dell Inspiron with Windows 7 Professional. Last year I had to have a new hard drive installed by a Dell engineer under the Dell guarantee. After fitting the drive he re-installed the Windows 7 OS from the Dell reinstallation DVD.
I have just checked the Windows OS key (Using both Belarc and Magic Jelly Bean) and it is completely different from the key shown on the Windows label on the side of the PC. What is the correct Windows key and what exactly is going on here?

Dell OEM Media installs a Generic SLP key. It does not have to match the coa sticker.
