Windows-Low on Registry Space

Dimension 4100 Series; Windows 2000; 128 MB RAM; Registry = 34 (current) and 36 (maximum)

What does the error message below mean and how do I solve the problem?  Is it as simple as adding additional memory, for example 256MB or 512MB?
"Your maximum registry size is too small.  To ensure that Windows runs properly, increase your maximum registry size."

Appreciate any help-Thanks.

I suggest you increase the Registry Size Limit (RSL) value. Control Panel, System, Advanced tab. Click Performance Options, then click Change in the Performance Options dialog box's Virtual Memory section. The Virtual Memory dialog box contains the RSL settings. Increase the value in the Maximum registry size (MB) text box. At least double should due. Reboot, and the RSL change should take effect.

Stumped if that doesn't work....
