Sounds like me when I started "another thing to fix". When you say Windows Mail I assume you mean Outlook Express and not Windows Live Mail. Windows Live Mail and MSN Hotmail you do not have to keep. Outlook Express you do have to keep but you do not have to use it. MSN Hotmail is fine. You will however have more options with Outlook Express. I have both and use each one for different personal reasons. It just sounds like it is not configured properly. Get someone to show you how to configure it or call your ISP, they should support this issue.

Outlook express has to be kept because it is part of your Operating System. You cannot uninstall or delete it but you can remove access. You do not have to use it. If you do not see Outlook Express on your Start Menu or in All Programs it is because access has not been enabled or someone has removed access. You can enable access at any time should you choose to do so. In my earlier post I assumed you meant Outlook Express but you meant Windows Live. Well if Windows Live is not working maybe you should contact them and get some help. From what I hear Windows Live is better than MSN Hotmail but I cannot really say, I am still reluctant to switch from MSN.

To enable to Outlook Express: Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs, on the left side click on Add/Remove Windows Components, scroll down to Outlook Express and put a check in the box beside Outlook Express, click next. You should now see Outlook Express on your Start Menu and in All Programs.
