Windows Mail

I have recently purchased a Dell 1520 with Vista. I use Windows mail as my default email program. I have been experiencing random problems when I open the mail. Sometimes it will open in front of the current window and sometimes it will open behind the current window possibly minimized). Any suggestions as to where I may find a setting to make sure it opens in front of the current window each time I start the windows mail?
