The key code is usually attached to the side or back of the computer case.

You can download and run a little program called productkey.vbs from the Delltalk Tweekz site (link below my signature) which will extract the key from the Registry, in the event you can't find it elsewhere.

Hi JonnyPuff,
I have a Dimension 4100 with ME and the product key is located on a sticker towards the top, left front corner of the tower. My black Service Tag/Express Service Code sticker is also located right above it.

Right click on the My Computer icon. Select Properties. Under the General tab, you will see "registered to" followed by your name and the product key.

the thing is my friend i changed my tower

to  add more drives and i don't have the old one

so if i could get the key it self that would be great
