WIndows Media Player - internal application error

Question

Media Player will not load. I have installed version 10.0 and removed it. I have run ie.inf 'install'. I have reloaded DLL listings from XP. I removed anti-virus programs.   What am I missing here? Message Edited by randym59 on 10-31-2005 05:03 PM

you may not have any sound drivers installed on you system i would like to know exactly what the error says

Error is Media Player will not even start. It states application error, then pops up a memory read error.
