Windows media player won't open! HELP!!!!

Question

Hey i just reinstalled my OS because of a little problem with Widows Explorer and now, every time i want to open Widows Media Player, a message pops up that says: An internal application error occoured.

i need to fix this problem, fast! ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!!!!!!!

Have you tried uninstalling Media Player and do a new clean install? You can download Media Player 10 here.
