Windows not booting properly

I have an Inspiron 6000 and just installed new drivers for my wireless card (was having connection problems every once in a while) and also for my Video card. Since I installed these, windows will load but with only the background. No icons or start menu, but can still access task manager. What do I need to do to fix this?

Also gettingan error window when i start it up "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005)". reffering to Explorer.exe file

You`ll have to find out which driver is responsible.
It is probably the video driver, but the wireless one will be easier to check, so do it first.
Just remove the wireless card and see if the problem is fixed.

If it proves to be this
1. Open Task Manager.
File/New Task Run   and type in
explorer.exe
OK
Hopefully this will get your Start Menu back

Then
Right click My Computer/Properties/Hardware/Device Manager
Click the + at the wireless card.
Right click card/Properties/Driver
Click "Roll Back Driver"

If it is not the wireless card use the instructions above to "Roll Back" the driver for your video card.
