You have several options:
  1. Re-Install the OS - You may lose personal files and applications if not done properly
  2. Download a Linux boot disk with NT Password reset functionality - I've never done it but many others have
  3. Buy ERD Commander Pro from www.winternals.com - I highly recommend that any NT/2000/XP System Admin has a copy of this in their toolkit.  It can save your behind in many situations.  This very one is one of them,  but it can do so much more too...

There is a method to reset the Windows NT/W2k/XP/2k3 password:
http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/

There is a tool there that is free, that you can download it will allow you to reset the password.

The howto guide: http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/bootdisk.html
- This explains how to use the reset tool.

Scroll down on that website to the section called "Download" to download. It comes in formats for floppy disks, or a cd image if your computer supports booting a cd.
